Joanna & Gareth are a brilliant couple, really easy to get along with and good fun. Their wedding day was no exception, super lucky with the weather, and great venues too. We’ve photographed quite a few weddings now at Horton Grange, it’s a venue we recommend highly. It’s exclusive use so no worries about running into another bride, and the gardens are superb.
A very special moment of the day was going to visit Joanna’s Grandad in his care home, it was fantastic to be able to include him in the day and we were more than happy to go along to grab a few photos. Weddings are all about family, and if a family member isn’t well enough to come to the venue, it’s a wonderful thing to go and visit them. Joanna’s Grandad was obviously so very proud of her, and really enjoyed the visit.
The wedding cake was one of the best we’ve ever seen, and a very unique idea! The front of the cake looked like a typical wedding cake, but the back was cut away and printed with Joanna & Gareth’s own photos!
